Hurricanes to play Islanders in Eastern Conference First Round
The Carolina Hurricanes will play the New York Islanders in the Eastern Conference First Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Hurricanes (52-22-7), who will finish second in the Metropolitan Division, will have home-ice advantage in the best-of-7 series. The Islanders (38-27-16) will finish third.
