Miami police searching for missing man suffering from Alzheimer's

Miami police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

Claude Sabin, 78, was last seen this morning near 7020 N.W. 5th Ave. wearing a white t-shirt, gray and white shorts, and beige sneakers.

Sabin is 5 foot 6 inches and weighs 160 lbs. with black hair.

Police ask anyone with information on Sabin's wherabouts to call 305-603-6400 or 305-579-6111.

  • 1 man dead, 1 man hospitalized after shooting, Miami-Dade police say

    One man is dead and another man was hospitalized after a Saturday evening shooting, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

    Officers went to the 2400 block of NW 44th Street around 7:20 p.m. after a report was received about shots fired.

    Police said officers found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel attended to both of the victims.
