The Minnesota Vikings announced Thursday they signed free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The Vikings made the announcement on Twitter one day after the former Washington Redskins quarterback visited with team officials in Minnesota.
The fully-guaranteed contract is for three years and $84 million, a source told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. The deal makes Cousins the highest-paid player ever.
According to NFL.com, the contract is worth $22.5 million in 2018, $27.5 million for 2019 and $29.5...
It's all about the scheme in Minnesota, and Cousins should thrive in an offense with Dalvin Cook, Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.
