    A Hudson Valley residence was damaged in a blaze that took crews hours to put out.  The blaze happened in Putnam County on Monday, April 16 around 2:40 a.m., when a residence in Brewster on Dingle Ridge Road went up in flames, according to the Lake Carmel Fire Department.
