Sunderland opticians’ Home Visits service marks Dementia Awareness Week with care home visits
The Newcastle domiciliary team, which is based in Sunderland but covers every corner of the North East and Cumbria, visited two care homes last week (May 13-19), delivering cakes to hard-working staff. The team checked in at both Bede House and Hylton Grange in Sunderland to drop off the sweet treats in recognition of the efforts they make daily to care for residents.
