Police in riot gear arrived at UCLA on Thursday afternoon in response to a new pro-Palestinian encampment that had been erected on the campus hours earlier. At least two tents had been set up on the Kerckhoff patio Thursday morning. Wood pallets surrounding the patio marked the perimeter of the encampment.
