It was reported back in January that Sony was teaming up with original 28 Days Later director Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland for a new trilogy. Boyle was set to direct from a Garland screenplay for the first film, with both the director and writer set to serve as producers of the next two sequels. Now Deadline has reported on Wednesday that the 34-year-old director has entered talks to direct, though a deal has not yet been finalized
