BLM increases reward for information on California wild burro killings
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) - The Bureau of Land Management announced an increased reward of $36,000 for information leading to justice in the shooting and killing of 19 wild burros. The killings took place between Baker, California, and Primm, Nevada in August of 2019. BLM is again offering a $10,000 reward in the ongoing investigation. Additional rewards []

Wild horses, burros removed from public lands near Las Vegas
Over the weekend, nearly 200 wild horses and burros were collected from public lands near Las Vegas. It was part of the Bureau of Land Management's bait and gather program which is designed to prevent "undue or unnecessary degradation of the public lands." The BLM gathered 115 wild horses and 70 burros.

Ohio Beef Council Hires Anna Gest as manager of nutrition education programs
The Ohio Beef Council (OBC) Operating Committee, responsible for Beef Checkoff demand building investments in the state, recently expanded its beef nutrition focus through the creation of a full-time position. Anna Gest of Grafton, Ohio will serve as the Manager of Nutrition Education Programs. Gest was most recently the part-time Nutrition Coordinator for the council.
