Rushden man charged with robbery and drug offences
A 20-year-old man appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday, April 22) in connection with a robbery in Rushden and the supply of drugs. Tyrone Maitland of Hart Way, Rushden was arrested shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday (April 21) on suspicion of a robbery, which allegedly took place in the town’s Hall Park the previous day (Saturday, April 20). Derry man pleads not guilty to sex offences
Michael McMonagle (42) of Limewood Street in Derry appeared at Derry Crown Court charged with two counts of attempting to incite a child to engage in a sexual act. He also faces 13 charges of attempted sexual communication with a child. All of the charges were said to have occurred on dates between June 8, 2020 and August 16, 2021.
