Severe storms with heavy rain possible tonight, Tuesday
We are tracking a couple of systems that have potential to bring strong to severe thunderstorms tonight and again Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. In addition, some places could get locally heavy rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches or more. The heaviest rain is likely late tonight and again late Tuesday into Tuesday night.

Southern Louisiana, including Baton Rouge, remains under a Level 3/5 risk of severe weather for storms into Monday night. Scattered instances of severe weather will be possible, especially along and south of the capital area. Gusty winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are the concerns with storms that are able to intensify.
