Xiaomi's Black Shark Helo gaming phone was announced a week ago and the release date was supposed to be November 10, but it appears that the handset is arriving a bit early. A lot earlier, in fact.
In a Weibo post, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, announced that the official Mi online store will start selling the phone as early as today. The flash sale begins at 8PM local time and as far as we can tell from the post, it's the second one for today.
Unfortunately, the 10GB version is still nowhere...
The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo comes with 6/8/10 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD. The smartphone runs OS Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone powered by a non-removable Li-Polymer 4000 mAh battery with fast charging. The Xiaomi Black Shark Helo is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
Xiaomi's rumored Black Shark 2 is still a big mystery with only a couple of leaks to work with. Yet, the company is seemingly teasing an international release on its new global website and now we probably know when's the handset arriving.
What seems to be an official poster was just posted, revealing the announcement date of the handset - October 23 at 18:00 local time. Since the poster is in Chinese, we assume it will begin its global rollout from there.
However, we can't be absolutely sure...
