Gurman: New iPad Pro may actually be powered by the M4 chip, touting AI features
In a surprise move, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports today in his Power On newsletter that the upcoming iPad Pro may actually be powered by the M4 chip, skipping the M3 altogether. The company would tout the AI capabilities of the new iPad range, powered by the upgraded Neural Engine in the M4 chip. The M4 chip is scheduled to arrive in Macs later in the year. more

New iPad Pro might have M4 chip
Apple is finally announcing new tablets on May 7, and the oft-rumored next-gen iPad Pro will be there of course, in two sizes as always. A new report from the usually reliable Mark Gurman over at Bloomberg now claims that the next iPad Pro could in fact use Apple's M4 chipset, skipping over the M3 entirely.
