Masked men murder cleric in Ajmer mosque
Three masked men killed a 30-year-old maulvi inside a mosque in Rajasthan's Ajmer on Saturday. At the time of the incident, there were six children inside the mosque. The men forced the children to leave the mosque and then killed Mohammad Mahir. The crime triggered panic leading to protests and demand for arrest of the culprits. Jaipur: A maulana, 32, was allegedly beaten to death by unidentified assailants on Friday inside the mosque in Rajasthan’s Ajmer, police officials familiar with the development said.Police said that the incident took place late on Friday night while he was asleep in his room inside the mosque.
