A 2.7 magnitude earthquake hit Richland, Washington, Friday evening, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Tremors were felt in Kennewick, Tri-Cities and Olympia. The earthquake struck Washington at 9:18 p.m. at a shallow depth of eight miles.
