    According to LA Magazine, Kevin McCarthy's longtime friend and protege, Kern County Supervisor Zack Scrivner, is under criminal investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting his daughter. Sheriff Donny Youngblood said Scrivner is being probed over "sexually assaulting his pre-teen daughter."
