For years, it was a distinction that set Southwest Airlines apart from all the other airlines. The airline refused to allow its flights to appear among competitors when using third-party sites like Google Flights to book a trip. Some travelers were so peeved by Southwest’s absence that one developer created a Google Chrome extension called Travel Arrow that automatically placed Southwest on Google Flight searches.
